Alphacomm Mural

Overview

Following the brand refresh, I was assigned to design a mural for the company breakroom. The goal was to extend the refreshed visual identity into the physical environment, creating a space that felt energizing and on-brand. I created illustrations and used hand-drawn style typography that reflected our new look and feel.

Problem

The breakroom lacked visual interest and did not reflect the company’s updated identity or culture. It felt disconnected from the rest of the office and failed to inspire or engage employees. There was a need for a branded environment that brought warmth and creativity into the space.

Process

After gathering input from the internal team, I collaborated with our copywriter, who crafted a series of phrases that embodied the new brand’s tone and energy. I created concept sketches for the mural that combined illustration and hand-drawn type based on those phrases. I balanced whitespace, playful visuals, and brand voice to create an energetic, vibrant mural.

Solution

I designed a custom wall mural featuring playful, on-brand illustrations and hand-drawn typography that mirrored the style established in the brand refresh. The mural added personality and strengthened the brand's internal presence. It became a visual focal point and a conversational piece that reinforced company values.
